I think Monday should be a day of service because , Martin Luther King jr worked hard get rid of segregation . He influenced peaceful protests to stop segregation. He risked his life to stop segregation. So ,I believe that giving back to the community is what he would have wanted . That’s why i believe Monday should be a day of service.
On Monday for my day of service I helped clean and decorate my old play house with my grandma. We wanted to play in it, but nobody had gone it for years so it was dusty and and had a lot of bugs in it . So , my grandma was the only one cleaning it . It looked like a lot to do for one person so , I went to help her . She said she was very happy I choose to help her .
